MTO: Sona Buvelle Costume

Hey guys! It’s me again! And I wanted to share my my mto costume!

As you know I do my own costumes… If I have the free time to do it so.

I wanted to share my Sona Buvelle costume with you! This costume was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done due to the pattern of the costume. *_*

Let’s start first at the outer layer of the costume!

 

The outer layer of the gown consits of the golden designs and outer gold linings. 

Here's how it looks like on the back 

 

So sorry for the crappy back ground. I was in my room and I still haven't fixed it after the move. 

As you can see I had to use floral designed patches for the sides. (not the golden linings) 

Because I had a hard time searching for the music patch in the stores or tailors.. 

It looked so pretty so I had no choice to use it. 

There are 4 parts of these patches that I had them attached in. 

First was the front view. 

Which is found above the chest. 

"So sorry for the stains, it was when I was holding on to the music guitar of sona which had wet paint still T_T "

The 2nd one is the front part which is below the layer.

It consist of 2 (making it 4 patches in each fabric line)  designs, both left and right. 

 

Here was the back view. only consists of 2 patches. (picture above)

 

The last but not the least is found in the shoulder part (here is the close up view)

Here's how it looks like from the bottom. (again sorry for the stains and also for the boots in the background) T_T 

Next part is the arm warmers of sona. Yeah the ones that look like she is wearing long sleeves but not all the way to her shoulder. Starting from about half of her arm to her hands. 

 

Here's how it looks like. 

The blue fabric is the same color as the inner gown WHICH I forgot to take a pic and include in this review *_*

Let's take a closer view! 

Here's how it looks like up close. I know, I love gold things and things that shine XD 

But its also good as a contrast to the outer blue fabric which is KATRINA CLOTH (fabric) .  

The gold one which is the lining in the end is called SATIN cloth (fabric)

 

And of course in the inner part of the arm warmers, I had to make it gold (which I had excess of the gold satin fabric) And it looked royal enough for sona as a mute muse. 

 

Here's how it looks like when I wear it in my arms and hands. (up and down pic) 

As you can see its only until half of my upper arm.

Now! Let's move on the head piece of sona!  

 As you can see I have used the same patches for the head piece. I used gold satin fabric for the over all fabric. 

 Here's how it looks like when It's worn. So sorry for this, I had to show it w/o wearing the wig. But as you can see the Sona shot in the upper part of the blog, that's how it looks like. :> 

I still have to update this blog of mine because I had left out the inner gown. D:

Walk for Dogs 2014

Hi Hi! I wanted to share my experience in joining a dog show!  It was an amazing experience seeing other dog’s and their awesome breeds!

Here’s the banner of the event:

I had a lot of effort in putting up with the costume of my puppy! There were 3 categories for this event

-          - Costume

-          - Talent

-          - Look a like (pet owners)

We were allowed to join 2 categories, and only a maximum of 2 dogs per owner. I on the other hand, only have 1 so it wouldn’t be to hard for me to handle.

Plus I had my awesome friend Melvin with me.

I had to hold my baby chihuahua while Mel had to hold my cousin’s siberian husky, KING.

The meeting place was in B.U highschool grounds, where in we were going to register and have the parade going to the park.

Then we met up with other dog lovers and they were A LOT! It was so awesome seeing other breeds around, dressed up. So kawaii!

 

And so on! We had the parade going to the park (where the event was going to be) 

 

First category! We joined in the Costume category for dogs. I had made a special Kimono for flick. And for fun, I bought him some golden shoes! Hahaha It was really cute on him! (pic above)

After that, supposedly the 3^rd category which was the ka look a like category for owners happened to be moved to the 2^nd category! And I was like rushing to fix my costume and my baby’s costume!! 

So we came in last to perform since I had to dress up also. I am very proud of the costume that I made for Flick and Myself :D 

So after the ka look a like category came in the tricks!

Sadly we didn’t join there since I haven’t trained him yet huehuehue

Then came the awarding. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on wining or something.. just wanted to show my baby andalso the costume that I made since I had a lot of effort in to it.

Then suddenly they called my name and Flick’s name for 2^nd place runner up for ka look a like category! OH MY! I was so happy and honoured at the same time. 

Well after the event I had to take flick home, and I had to go out with my awesome cosplayer bff! Melvin! Yep! He is an awesome naruto cosplayer (Tobi to be precise) He is an awesome friend, always listens to me if I have problems and so do I :D huehuehue But the thing that we love the most is FOOD! So we ate a lot and had our own treat! Small cakes at biggs! 

Bicolano Blogger's Republic Gathering

Hey guys! Another event here in Bicol! And yes, it was the Bicolano Blogger’s republic  gathering .

Also we had the invitation to go to Albay city hall since it was the 12 year anniversary of RASAGRAFIKA by Mr Ritche Asagra

The event was held in Biggs Diner Albay. Biggs diner is one of the most active partner of bbr group. Asides from MOP (my orange pulp) who also came to have a meeting together with the bloggers.

The First 10 will be receiving some awesome freebie! And also the ones who joined will also be in care of their snacks.

 

First of all they had to give the 10 who were the earliest to arrive.. YES I was there early XD 
HUHEUEHUEHEUHEUE

 

OMG WAT ^ HAHAHA That forced SMILE of mine XDDD

Food World: Re-opening of Mister Donut in Gaisano Legaspi (Bicol)

Hey guys! Its me again! Sorry for the long long awaited post! Anyways, there were a lot of happenings in my life now a days.

The recent one was, when I was invited by my fellow blogger, sis Karen Hobi from Bicolano Bloggers <3

I was invited to blog about the re-opening of mister donut here in gaisano legaspi.

Oh btw! My hair is shorter now.. People said I look like a 16 year old girl @__@ OMGOSH! 

My outfit for today: Yarn autumn top and short denims, with a finishing touch of re

 

OMG I seem to be looking so chubby now a days, ah well, its also the reason why I had my hair cut. >__<
